Artist's Comments

The subject matter has a lot to do with my past 6 months. I lost both My Mother and Father within a 5 month period. It is the main reason I haven't been submitting lately. I feel back to creative mode and it feels good to be working on pieces again. This is an Apophysis fractal and it looks best in full view because of the fine details. Thanks for looking.

Oh honey I am so sorry... I really am..

I was wondering where you were. I'm glad you are feeling better now though.. this looks good.

I'm using apophysis now, but I've not done anything like this!!

That's so kind of you. I am doing much better. Have fun with apophysis and if I can ever help out let me know. That's how I learned. Everyone was so wonderful about answering all of my questions so I like to pay it forward as they say.

that is so sweet of you! Right now I'm just trying to figure out things like.. how do you get full field details and how do you make them not fuzzy? LOL I hope to figure that out soon! LOL

And I'm glad you are feeling better.. I know how tough it is to lose a parent. I haven't experienced it myself, but if watching my father, who is super emotional is any indication, he better live forever. I inherited his super emotional gene.. Thanks dad!! >.< I may not survive it..

You'll find when you go into the editor box which is the one with the yellow and red triagles on it, you can pull the tip of the triangles inward to get more detail and to lose the fuzziness of some of the fractals. I'll note you a little How To thing I did awhile ago. It was probably for an older version but hopefully it will work on the newer one too.

I just downloaded some scripts and none of them are in my program.. I don't know how to get them in there.. it sucks. :( I know you can move the triangles about a bit, and even delete ones too :) but that's as far as I got! LOL I'd appreciate any help you wanna give for sure!

I just sent a note with some instrutions. I'm not sure how you get the scripts into the new version of Apop. I have an old version too that is there when you go to Start - My Computer - Local Disk(C:) - Program Files - Apophysis 2.0. I put all my scripts into this folder. I send a shortcut to it to my desktop so I can easily paste new scripts and new gradients into it. If you don't find an Apophysis folder in Program Files maybe I can e-mail you the old version and I can show you how to put scripts into that. They then open up in the new version too. I know, it's very confusing.
